Dye Sublimation is a printing
technique that allows for full color images on a wide array of items such as
tshirts, flags, mousepads, and even ceramic tiles.
HOW DOES SUBLIMATION DIFFER
FROM SCREEN PRINTING?
-Dye sublimation is actually
absorbed into the material as opposed to ink sitting on top of the material as
with screen printing. Because of this, only light colored shirts
can be used.
-Dye sublimation must be done
on material that contains at least 50% polyester.
-With screen printing, you are limited with the number of colors in the print but sublimation allows you to print in full color
